ALL THE ITEMS LISTED ON THIS SITE HAVE BEEN SOLD!!
Response to the sale was so amazing that I've decided to sell a few more large props. They will be posted soon. If you'd like to be notified when they go on sale, e-mail me at dlamoureux76@gmail.com.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I ran a small haunted house for a few years at my local rec center and I built and bought tons of stuff for it. Since we don't plan on doing it again I thought I'd sell off the props, masks and costumes I have left. I'm located in Thornton which is in the south suburbs of Chicago. If you are less than 30 minutes from me and if you're buying more than $300 worth of stuff I'd be willing to deliver it to you. I don't have a truck though so the large items (like the life-size creatures) will have to be picked up. Also, I have a lot of cool, small items that I'd sell for $5 or less so if you come to pick something up you see what I've got.
The prices listed below are fixed. So no haggling please. I have sold off a lot of other props just using craigslist and these prices are based on what I've been able to sell props for in the past. However, if you would like to buy the ENTIRE collection I can offer a 10% discount on the total price.
All items below are still available as of SEPTEMBER 1st, 2010. Once an item has been bought I will mark it as sold. However if you are interested in purchasing any of these items please e-mail me at Dlamoureux76@gmail.com. THANKS!
FULL-SIZE CASKET. AVAILABLE FOR RENT: $100 A WEEK or $150 FOR ONE WEEKEND.
This amazing casket normally sells for $6,000 but this one happened to get scratched so I was able to buy it from a friend of a friend at a significant discount. This is the only item I would prefer to rent rather than sell. NOTE: This is a photo of the casket when I first got it. I used it as a prop in a film shoot and it got banged around and the lid got scratched quite a bit. It still looks good and would add a tremendous amount of production value to your haunt. I'd prefer to rent this to someone who would want it for the entire Halloween season. If you REALLY would like to buy this item then make me an offer.
NOW HERE'S WHAT WE HAVE FOR SALE:
LIFE-SIZED VAMPIRE PROP
Let the tweens in your neighborhood know that real vampires are not loveable. This guy is about 6 feet tall and is attached to a base so he can stand on his own.
This guy is about 6 feet tall and is attached to a base so he can stand on his own. His arms are poseable.
This prop is pretty simple but he was always one of the monsters that people talked about after the haunt. In the dark, he appears to be floating. We used to place a fan behind him to make his sheets flutter.
LIFE-SIZED UNDERTAKER PROP
The undertaker is about 6 feet tall and he is attached to a base and can stand on his own. A single small bulb has been run into his lantern so it can light up.
SCARECROW PROP
Our haunted house was called the "Harvest of Horrors" and this guy was our mascot. The scarecrow has a hook on his back so he can be attached to a pole. Included with the prop is an 8 foot tall pole with a base. The base is filled with cement so the entire prop can stand on it’s own. He looks better hanging higher up the pole but I lowered him so I could get him and the base in the photo.
This zombie’s busting out of the ground and can stand on his own. His body is a mannequin torso so he’s very sturdy. His head isn't a mask; it was a stuffed prop so he looks real from all angles.
BODY IN TRUNK
This poor guy’s been stuck in this trunk for a very long time. We used to stick a strobe light (set on slow) in there. It was great for distracting people from a hidden actor scare.
BROWN AND GREEN CAMMO NETTING
I don’t remember how much I paid for these but I remember it was a lot. Each piece was originally 16X5 feet. The netting has been cut up to make it look more natural. The green was split down the middle. We used to hang it from the ceiling and had strips of it hanging down like vines. All the green netting is $50 and all the brown netting is $50.
HARD FOAM PUMPKINS
Yep, five pumpkins, including one really big one for just 25 bucks.
2 STREET LAMPS
These are great. They originally were props in a stage play. They weren't wired so we put battery-operated flicker lights under the domes. Flicker lights are included.
Another prop from a stage play and it was a custom made item. It’s big enough to fit a person but it’s foam so it’s delicate. So you might just want to stick a dummy in there.
LARGE WOODEN CASKET
This thing is 5 ½ feet tall and pretty heavy.
These are each 6 feet tall. They're shallow so we hung skeletal corpses in each of these.
“TALKING” BRAIN IN A JAR
This is a one of a kind prop that I built myself. When it's set up, the jar gets filled with water. The jar has a an air pump hooked up to it so it bubbles (that blue thing in the jar makes the bubbles.) There is a light underneath the jar that is hooked up to a sound activated light. We used to set a CD player nearby saying things like “where am i? Please, someone get me out of here!” So when the voice on the CD “talked” the jar flashed along with the words. Comes with jar, brain, air pump, lights, CD player and voice activated device. Everyone always would stop to listen and watch the talking brain so we used to have our mad scientist sneak up behind the group while they were distracted.
FOAM GRAVESTONES
LABORATORY GLASSWARE
Set includes everything in the photo; beakers, test tubes, test tube holders, jars etc plus a small battery-operated black light. (we used to fill all the glassware with florescent liquid and blacklight it)
NEW AND LIGHTLY USED DOCTOR/LABORATORY COSTUMES
Set includes several doctor's outfits. They are supposed to be disposable but they're actually pretty heavy duty and made of a plastic-like fabric. There are three lab coats and a blue surgical gown plus a pair of black rubber gloves, some surgical masks and a surgeon's hat. Only one of the white lab coats was ever used. Everything else has never been worn.
FAKE BODY PARTS
Our haunt wasn't very bloody so these are the only fake body parts I have.
FLORESCENT BARREL AND CREATURE
The Skeleton guy’s face and poncho glow under a blacklight. So does all the writing on the barrel. The barrel could use a touch up though. Note: This guy does NOT pop out of the barrel; he just sits there looking awesome.
This is a cardboard barrel and very light. The orange parts glow under a blacklight. It actually is great for storage. I usually keep it full of costumes. The barrel comes with a (rusty) lid.
"TOXIC WASTE DUMP" FLORESCENT STUFF
I sold off most of the props from our "Toxic Waste Dump" room but here's a few random things I still have. This lot includes 2 mostly full cans of florescent green spray paint, one mostly full can of orange florescent spray paint, a black and florescent orange barricade bar and some plastic and aluminum foil tubing. The tubing was spray painted in florescent paint when they were folded up. They looks really cool under a black light.
3 HARD FOAM CORPSE HEADS
These are some of my favorite props. The company that made them doesn’t seem to exist anymore which is too bad because these are pretty impressive.
WHITE BODY BAG WITH INFLATABLE BODY
Here's something you can't just buy at Party City. This is an actual zippered body bag we got from our local police department. Of course, it’s never been used except in our haunted house. The inflatable body is included and gives a nice shape to the bag. Or you can dress it and leave the bag unzipped some.
DECREPIT OLD BOOKSHELF
What haunted study would be complete without a creepy old bookshelf?
UGLY OLD TRUNK
This thing is pretty ugly. It's also huge. It's big enough for a person to hide in but it IS a bit musty in there.
IRON RAILING WITH GATE
If you run a haunted house you probably can think of 10 places to use something like this. It perfect for keeping guests separated from a scene. This heavy metal railing is 13 feet long and comes with a gate. So it could also be used to let people in/out of an area. The entire thing is heavy enough so that it can stand on it's own and stay in one place. But it also has holes where you can attach it to the floor.
TWO SETS OF BLUE WALLS
This is one of the two fold-able blue "walls" I have. It is about 4 feet tall and 12 feet long. Originally they were used as part of some lobby display. There are holes at the hinges so you can insert rods in there and stack the two pieces on top of each other. Problem is, they aren't very sturdy. But if you nailed them to some 2X4s they'd make excellent barricades.
VARIOUS CHRISTMAS AND HALLOWEEN LIGHTS
We used a lot of Christmas lights and Halloween lights in our haunt. Each strand of lights is just 3 bucks. Some of them never even got used.
CLOWN ROOM DÉCOR
This is some of the stuff we used to decorate our clown room. There's two strands of circus-like Christmas lights, one regular strand of Christmas lights, 1 strand of plastic flags, one rotating, colored light ball. Plus I'll throw in a CD of fantastic demented circus music.
CLOWN COSTUME #1
Complete clown costume. Includes costume, clown shoes and mask.
CLOWN COSTUME #2
Complete clown costume. Includes costume, clown shoes and mask.
CLOWN COSTUME #3
Complete clown costume. Includes costume, clown shoes and mask. This is the best of the three costumes and the mask and costume were more expensive.
LEATHERFACE COSTUME, MASK AND CHAINSAW
Everything you need to become Leatherface. Set includes the mask, shirt, black jeans, bloody apron and skinny tie PLUS an electric chainsaw. The chainsaw works and the chain has been removed.
BLUE LAB COAT
Real doctor's lab coat. I have two blue ones. They're $15 each.
GRAY LAB COAT
Real Doctor's lab coat. I have two of these also.
3 LARGE JUMPSUITS
The ultimate haunted house costume. I have three of these.
BLOODY DOCTOR'S SCRUBS
TOR JOHNSON MASK
Is this thing amazing or what? Technically it's not a mask since it has no eye holes. It's too nice too wear anyway. It's best used on a prop.
SKELETON MASK AND GLOVES.
MICHAEL MYERS MASK
SHRUNKEN HEAD MASK #1
SHRUNKEN HEAD MASK #2
SKULL MASK WITH HAIR
